f.A.Q.
Questions often come up along the way. From Wix plans and content preparation to making changes yourself after launch. This section covers the practical details to help you feel informed.
If your question isn’t answered here, feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to think along and help you find the right next step.
- 01You can see my starting prices here.(https://www.wix.com/studio/community/partners/peruze-votsi#services-and-reviews) Every website is different, so the final price depends on the size, number of pages, and extra features like bookings, calendars, menus, hotel reservations, or online shops. That’s why your quote may be higher than the starting rate. No tricks, just a project tailored to your needs. I always provide a transparent, written offer, and after delivery, I’m available for extra support at €40 per hour. My prices are very competitive and fair.
- 02We always send an official invoice, but whether VAT is added depends on you: • If you’re a business in the EU with a valid VAT number, we don’t add VAT. You take care of it in your country. • If VAT doesn’t apply to you in your EU country (for example, some doctors or other exempt professions), we also don’t add VAT. • If you don’t have a valid VAT number or aren’t exempt, we add 24% VAT on the invoice, as required by law. We ask for your VAT number or exemption info so everything stays legal and you only pay what’s required. Check your VAT number here to see if VAT is included or not: EU VAT validation(https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/#/vat-validation)
- 03A Wix Premium plan is a paid upgrade that lets you connect your own personal domain. Without a Premium plan, you cannot use a custom domain for your website. Ask your Wix Expert which plan suits your business best and also look out for the special offers that Wix has once in a while with up to 50% discount!
- 04Your website will be delivered with all the basic SEO essentials in place, following Google’s requirements for smooth connection to Search Console and good site speed. For more advanced SEO strategies, like ongoing optimization, keyword campaigns, or detailed analytics, you would need a dedicated SEO expert. My focus is design and functionality, ensuring your website looks great, works well, and meets the basic SEO standards.
- 05A logo is often the starting point of your entire brand. It sets the tone for colours, typography, and the overall look and feel of your website. In many ways, everything grows from there. Having a clear logo from the beginning helps create consistency and makes design choices more focused and intentional. If you already have one, it becomes the natural foundation for your website. If not, it is worth taking a moment to define this first step, as it will guide all visual decisions that follow. Branding does not need to be complicated, but it does benefit from a thoughtful starting point. A strong logo gives your website direction and helps your brand feel recognisable and trustworthy from the first impression.
- 06It depends on the type of website and your goals. Professional photography is always an asset and can make a real difference, especially for businesses where trust and personal connection matter. That said, it is not a requirement to get started. With a good smartphone and some guidance, it is absolutely possible to create strong and authentic images. If the available photo material is limited or not ideal, I will always look for a creative workaround that still supports the quality of the website. For many types of websites, showing your real face is far more important than relying only on stock or AI generated images. Real imagery helps build trust and connection, which is something no template or generic visual can replace.
- 07Absolutely. One of the main strengths of a Wix website is that it is designed to be easy to manage on your own. Updating text, images, pages, or blog posts does not require technical knowledge. Once your website is finished, I always provide a personal online walkthrough. During this session, I guide you through the Wix dashboard and show you how to make updates with confidence, including practical tips and tricks tailored to your website. The goal is that you feel comfortable, independent, and fully in control of your site moving forward.
- 08Yes! I’m always available for my clients once the website has been delivered. Support is offered at an agreed hourly rate of €40. I usually recommend collecting updates or changes and sending them together. This allows me to handle multiple tasks efficiently, often saving time and keeping costs down. I don’t offer ongoing monthly maintenance plans. Instead, support is flexible and available whenever you need it, with no long-term commitments.
- 09Yes, I do use AI, but always carefully and with intention. With the right prompts, it can be a helpful tool to support content writing, multilingual websites, and certain layout decisions, while still respecting the look and feeling of each individual project. AI is used as an assistant, not as a replacement for experience or personal judgement. Every result is reviewed and shaped to fit the website and the client. I am not a fan of AI generated images. When clients choose to use them, I ask that they provide these themselves. For many websites, real imagery remains far more valuable when it comes to trust and authenticity.
- 10Even the most beautiful website doesn’t automatically appear at the top of Google. Your site comes with basic SEO essentials, but higher rankings depend on content, updates, competition, and other factors. There are things you can do to help your site get noticed: keeping it updated, adding a blog with useful content, and making sure it’s active and engaging. For faster results, paid promotions like Google Ads or social media can help, and a SEO expert can guide more advanced strategies. Think of your website like a shop on a busy street: it’s ready and welcoming, but you still need to put up a sign, decorate it, and invite people in to see it.
